Walk
or bike along the ocean through the dunes.
This 2-1/2
mile concrete path runs right along the ocean.
Walk or drive the 3/4 of a mile from the Chateau to the
Westport Light State Parking lot at the end of Ocean Avenue.
The trail connects with Westhaven State Park at Half Moon Bay,
and then continues on to Downtown Westport.
The Dune Trail has many benches along the way with views
of the ocean and grassy dunes. Two ramped observation platforms
allow an overview of the beach.
